2006 DS Crafts wrote an opera based on my comic. Damian Willcox and I wrote a libretto - making sure most of the word rhymed. It’s played in San Diego (during the Comic-Con), Berkeley, Portland, Albuquerque, and New York, to favorable reviews.
Mounting your own production?
Get in touch if you’d like to put on a Too Much Coffee Man opera. We’ve had this performed in large performance spaces and small coffee shops. It’s about an hour with 3 singers accompanied by bass, clarinet, and piano.
